Legal Question in Family Law in Virginia

I currently am married to an active duty member, and living overseas. My husband wants a divorce, and we are trying to keep peace with each other. I do not want the divorce, but am willing to give him the seperation. He now has been not coming home at all, and I am miserable being overseas alone without any friends or family. We have not started any kind of paper work or gotten any kind of legal advice yet. I would like to go home now, and just have him send me the paperwork in the mail. My worry is that all of my belongings are here, and I am not sure of any liability I have if I just left.

Liability for what, the balance owed on your lease, perhaps, if you're living off-base?

As for your belongings, under the circumstances described, you had best

not count on your husband to return anything from your current living situation to you (in my opinion).
