paternity test

my brother just got a paper to take a paternity test from his wife who they have been seperated for 3 yrs she got pregant by someone else and needs to get a birth ceftificate for the baby but cant till she finds out if her new bofriend is the father .my question who pays for test and does he have to take test

Your brother would be well advised to have a lawyer take a look at this "paper" who can then advise him accordingly.
