Legal Question in Family Law in Virginia

I have a pendente lite order in the state of va dates 10/5/2012 that orders my husband to pay $500 on 4 different specified dates for child support. 1 in oct for $500 (we had agreed on 1500/month support) and 3 in nov of 2012. the order states that the case was to be reheard on 11/2/2012. He continued case because he switched attorneys and none the less the case never went back to court as of now. He has not paid me any child support since. Is this order in effect still and does it obligate him to the 1500/month support to me? Or does the original order go back in effect?

Unless the last order specifically stated that your husband's current order for support was being suspended until the matter could be "reheard

on 11/2/2012", then that order should continue in effect for the best

interests of the child(ren) and irrespective of the fact that the matter never was reheard on 11/2/2012 (in my opinion).
