Legal Question in Family Law in Virginia

responsible for debts after separation?

My wife and I have no debts together. Just married over 1 year. When we separate, would I be responsible for any debts she makes until final divorce or any debts she already has or would make and not be prompt on payments, would this affect my credit ?
