In the state of Virginia.....
Father and mother go to court over visitation.
Married, not divorced.
Father lives in Ma. Mother and child in Virginia.
Can the judge tell the father in order to have visitation he must move down there or he will give up his parental rights? Especially only after giving the father every other weekend visits.

No, I find it most unlikely that any judge would
threaten to terminate a person's parental rights merely
because the parent was living in another state, but if
such were to somehow occur, the judge's decision should be immediately
appealed so that it could be subject to reversal by a higher court.
