Re: turning house over to spouse

A quit claim deed designed for use in the Commonwealth which both you and your husband execute conveying your respective jointly held interests in the property from the two of you to only and soley you should suffice for this transaction. Although this is clearly not a sale of the property, if there's an outstanding mortgage, you'll want to ensure that nothing adverse is triggered with the current lender by removing your husband's name from the deed in this manner.
