Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Virginia

On 12/21/10i signed a contract to purchase a car for 3000 the contract states that i make a 1000 downpayment in jan 11 which i did then im to make monthly payments of 125 until balance is paid which im doing and i have all but 3 receipts ( june - aug) i havent made sept payment because i found out she taking me to court for the full 3000 and the car back on 12-21-10 she signed the title over to me with no liens and the contract has no repoession agreements .the question is does she have a right to this car back and if so will i be out of a car and the money ive put towards payment ? Can i sell the car to pay remaining balance off which is 1000- (1375 only because i dont have payment receipts)?

And, no, you should not sell this vehicle until the matter has been settled in court (or the suit withdrawn).
