employer to refused to pay

I worked for a Company in Virginia for 4 months, since may 25, 2006 to August 25, 2006, when I started I told the Manager that I need off on my daughters birthdays Jyly 21, August 9 and August 22, he was agreed, I had accident and I did not work for 2 days, the office mgr. from the main office located in Baltimore, send my pay check along with a note, stating that per Mgr in VA the company was paying me for 1 day, I still have the note, when I leave I gave them only 1 week notice, I couldn't stay there any longer because the Mrg was putting all the job on my shoulders, he was supposed to be there, but he used to leave me alone in the office all day, I talked to the owner, he come to the office in VA, he offered me to satay because I was doing a great job, but I already found another job and I had to go to my country, after a month I did not received my check for the last 7 days that I worked, their payroll was from Wednesday to Wednesday, the office Mgr sent my check for only 5 days, when I called her to ask to get paid for the other 2 days she said that the Mgr in VA told her that he doesn't feel like paying because I was absent 3 days on my daughters birthdays and 2 days for the accident, can you please tell me what should I do

File your case for whatever salary you believe is still owed to you by this company in the Virginia small claims court in the city or county where the company's headquarters or main office/principal place of business is located.
