Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Virginia

Can you please tell me what kind of lawyer I need somebody borrowed money from me but did not return. How long I have to go after the person, this happened 2 years ago. This was oral contract but I have copy of cashier check the person requested at the beginning and later changed to cash I deposited casher check in the bank and got cash the next day same amount

Oral contracts are valid for three years and written contracts for five in the Commonwealth.

Any general practice attorney should be able to handle the enforcement of this

kind of breach of contract case.
