Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Virginia

Magistrate

What actions can I take to prosecute a magistrate/judge who issued a EPO against me without reasonable grounds for such issuance? This has been sometime ago, how can the statue of limitations be extended?

Thanks,

Re: Magistrate

We would need a lot more informaiton than this, but it does not sound possible to me.

There is no way to extend the statute of limitations, although one should analyze it very carefully to see what the actual sttute of limitations really will be under the circumstances

Judges are usually immune from lawsuit, but one would have to carefully consider the situation involving a Magistrate judge and the actual case that you have.
