Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Virginia

if you go to purchase a judgment from a plaintiff in Virginia and they was represented by an attorney would they have to have a substition of attorney form filled out by the attorney that represented them before they could assign the judgment over to a judgment recovery company? Or would they not have to have that since the judgment has already been entered?
