Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Virginia

Qestioning A Minor Without Parents

I found out about something that happened at my sons school on 6/15/09. His teacher grabbed him and threw him down into his seat, and screamed other things to him. The teachers aide called Social Service and they came out to the school on two separate occasions and questioned my five year old son without his parents. Today is 6/30/09 and I just found out about it because the caseworker called me to set up a meeting to question my child again. Can Social Service or the school do such a thing without the parents being notified?

Re: Qestioning A Minor Without Parents

What could this five year old have told them that might have somehow been inappropriate or incriminating?
