Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Virginia

Possible slander

I work for the Commissioner of the Revenues office. Someone called the county administrator and accused me of copying a tax form and giving it to someone outside of the office. What shoud I do?

I would suggest that you take the matter up with your immediate supervisor and, perhaps, with the Commissioner of the Revenue, if appropriate. These folks should be able to advise you as to the most appropriate course of action for you to take under the circumstances.
