Legal Question in Immigration Law in Virginia

Hello, I have a H1B visa that will expire this december.. it would be my 6th year. I am considering applying for Green Card but i'm not sure that i will be able to even start the process since it's so close to having my visa expire.

Please advice if there's any way of going about it.

You will want to act quickly to determine if there is any time from the past 6 years to be recaptured. If there is not, you will either need to make plans outside the US or determine if you can qualify for an immediately available preference catagory for a greencard.
