Legal Question in Immigration Law in Virginia

Immigration Status of f-2

Hi, my husband did his graduation from US & i came to US on f-2 visa (dependent of f-1). Now my husband is on EAD where as my I-20 has expired in May 08. I want to apply for license but my only problem is that they are asking for my valid I-20 which i don't have. Can i apply for license based on my husband's EAD coz i am legally staying in US as his dependent. please suggest what should i do to get license.

Re: Immigration Status of f-2

Did your husband file for you EAD along with his? His EAD and I-485 filing does not grant you status unless he had filed for your green card as well. You may be out of status if he did not file whereby getting your license will be the least of your problems. Shoot me some more information so I can give you some accurate advice. Or just call my office.
