Staying outside US after being naturalized

Once you have been naturalized, you do not forfeit any rights merely by leaving the U.S., even for lengthy periods of time, or even permanently. You are now a citizen, not a mere resident. That does not mean that you cannot lose your citizenship, but merely leaving the U.S. to live in another country will not create this risk.
