Legal Question in Employment Law in Virginia

My employer forces its salaried employees to use earned/accrued PTO on sick days, holidays, and when the business closes for inclimate weather. When the clinic closes due to snow or inclimate weather, all salaried employees are forced to use earned PTO, they do not have the option to take the day unpaid. The same applies for holidays, we do not have the option of taking the holiday unpaid, we are forced to use earned PTO. The employer provides no holiday time and no sick time. Is this legal?

Under Virginia law, no employer is required to provide paid holiday or sick time off for any of its

employees. And, therefore, one must conclude that the answer to your question

must be in the affirmative.
