Legal Question in Employment Law in Virginia

We are being laid out by a US company we are working with in Afghanistan and the Foreign Service Agreement is registered under th Law of the Commonwealth in Virginia. Most of the people getting cut off are at the begining ang at the middle of their contracts. My question is are we supposed to be paid for the reminder of the contract? Because the employer is said to use `Termination without Cause' phase in the contract.
