Legal Question in Employment Law in Virginia

Recent Termination

I was working at an agency providing in-home counseling services. There was a complaint made that I was not providing services that were listed on my timesheet by myself. Subsequently, I was terminated because my employer was unable to verify whether or not services were provided. Also, I did not receive my final pay because my employer stated that they were unable to verify whether or not I had worked the hours on my timesheet. Is this legal? Should I have received my final paycheck.

Re: Recent Termination

Yes, and you could sue for it in a Virginia small claims court for about the cost of the $40 filing fee.
