Voluntary resignation of Circuit Court Deputy Clerk in VA. She was denied accumulated vacation/sick days. Is this legal?

Unless these personal leave days were specifically guaranteed as part of
your enforceable contract of employment with this court, then the answer is very likely, yes,
it is legal as employers in the commonwealth generally have no obligation
to provide employees with sick/vacation leave days.
