Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Virginia

Landlord does not want to give back my deposit and has not made a tenant contract in over 5 months, I asked for him to keep up his end and now he is mad and made threats and is also kicking me out, do I have at least a few days to try and find a home, I also do not have anyway to pay for it because he is keeping my deposit for no reason at all. I need it to move
