Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Virginia

Landlord Tenant Contract

My Landlord changed the move out

date on the contract after I signed by

whiting out and making copies. I

found the original with the whited

out date. The new date is 3 weeks

after the original date written. She is

now trying to make me pay until the

new date. What can I do and what is

the best plan of action?

Re: Landlord Tenant Contract

Confront the landlord with what you've discovered

and then make it clear that you will not pay anything extra, and that if she sues you, you will ask the court to grant you regular as well as punitive damages for her devious and fraudulent behaviour.
