Is there any legal way to get out of a one year lease on a house?

I signed a lease for a year on a house with my girlfriend.We are no longer together and I am no longer living there.I still pay my half of the rent,I have 3 months left on lease.Is there any legal way of getting out of this contract? My exgirlfriend's mother is the co signer.

No, not really. That's what it means to sign a

lease. You're stuck. However, you might try

suing your exgirlfriend for the money you

spent on the apartmetn while you are not living

there, since she is getting all of the benefit

exclusively.
