Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Virginia

Roommate

My roommate is moving out 3 months prior to the end of the lease (not on good terms) - she will be paying her remaining 1/2 of the rent for those 3 months - but will not be paying for or have her name on any of the utilities or have anything of hers in the apartment - is she legally able to come & go as she pleases when the only property in the apartment belongs to me? What can I do to protect my property after she moves out?
