writ of posession

if posession is granted to the landlord, and the landlord obtains writ of posession can he execute with in 24 hours or does the tennant have no less than 10 days?

I believe that the landlord who gains the writ of possession must hold off for 10 days before executing to accommodate the 10 day period for possible appeal by the tenant.
