Legal Question in Legal Ethics in Virginia
If contract is dated wrong, does it make it invalid? Husband signed an agreement in Virginia. Its a bad bad deal and he's within 3 business days, but I've been told it doesn't apply to auto sales. They dated the contract for 9/17/2011, but my husband did not even go into the dealership until 9/19/2011. Need help now.

Yes, you've been told right regarding the issue of cancellation "within 3 business
days", and, furthermore, the typoed date on this contract is not
enough to invalidate it (in my opinion).
In other words, you're husband is probably stuck with it, i.e, this "bad bad deal"
(unless, of course, there are other valid grounds on which to invalidate it).
