Legal Question in Medical Malpractice in Virginia

My husband age 52 was diagnosed with lung cancer and died 11-28-06.My ?? is we went from being told he could have 2 years to him dying in 5 and 1/2 weeks.I think it being the doctors line of medical practice when he was in and out of the hospital during that time she should of been able to fore see it was coming better than what she did please call so I can explain in more detail

No, I would respectfully disagree; the course of lung cancer lethality can be difficult to predict under the best of circumstances and even with the most competent doctors.

The legal issue regarding this situation largely reduces to whether the care and treatment which your husband received for his particular disease/medical condition more or less met the standard of care prevailing in that particular community at the time he received it.

And I would have to surmise that in all probability it did.
