Legal Question in Medical Malpractice in Virginia

The markers of the drug Premarin

I am a 39 year old female, who has been using the drug Premarin (a hormone replacement) since 1996. Last year I rushed to the hospital with severe chest pain. After a couples of days in the hospital, the docotor found several blood clots in my lungs. I was treated with blood thinners for the blood clots for 7 months. Even now, I am still having shortness of breath and chest pain. I was not told at the time, that Premarin could cause blood cloths, my doctor told me about the risk of breast cancer. The condition with the blood clots has changed my life so much, taking the blood thinners to correct and or treat the blood clots, I wasn't able to work. I would like to know if I can sue the markers of Premarin. For pain and suffering due to using their drugs since 1996.

Re: The markers of the drug Premarin

You are prevented from suing the drug companies whent he drugs are approved by the FDA and they are used as they are supposed to. Welcome to Republican law. William S. Stern 248-353-9400
