Legal Question in Personal Injury in Virginia

Broken back in car accident.

I was involved in a car accident while my friend was driving. He blacked out and drove off the road and smashed into some train tracks. He was proven completely sober and the reason for the black out was unexplainable. I suffered a compression fracture of 10 percent in height on my L1 vertebra. I was told if it was 5 percent worse they would have had to operate. Im now ineligible to join the military or a police force as well as advised to not partake in any hard hitting physical activity (football bungee jumping ect). I have constant pain when on my feet for a long periods of time and im sure it will be a horrible pain when im older. My meds totaled to be 11,000 dollars.

what should i be expecting here?

If his family only has a 25,000 dollar policy for him what should i do?

Re: Broken back in car accident.

Consult with an attorney who regularly handles

victims' car accident claims in the Commonwealth.

The supposed $25K policy of your friend's family may not be the only source of your possible recovery and on which the attorney should be able to give you further advice.
