Legal Question in Personal Injury in Virginia

Child beat up at school

My son had his nose drove up in his head by a classmate who grabbed his head and shoved it down on his Knee. He was seriously hurt. He may require surgery. Do we have the right to know the name of the parents and do we have the right to have them pay all medical expenses?

your claim is against the child who committed the assault. Under VA law his parents are not responsible for your medical bills.
