Legal Question in Personal Injury in Virginia

Hello

I have a quick question. While attending an event in my hometown, I was hit in the face with a piece of metal (flying debris from the dance they were doing, it included hammers and pounding on metal). My face hurts and it feels like the metal is still in my face. I am seeking medical advise and will soon get an x-ray. I have not felt good since that night. What can I do and what should I do. I have the card of the person responsible for putting event together. Is there anything they are liable for?

Thanks

Rui

Yes, liability could lie with those responsible for this performance that apparently went awry but best to first arrange for a consultation with an attorney in the area where the incident occurred who handles personal injury matters and who should be able to advise you, accordingly.
