Damage and zoning of property

We bought land and a Doublewide home. The owner of land said

the property was not in a flood zone. There is a small creek

on other side of road. Yes it does flood.We have pictures,

Also the land that joins our property in the back of our house,has a natural spring which of this is located at the top of the hill, which when we have large storms it over flows down the hill straight for my back porch it looks like Nigara Flalls,have pictures, it is causing a lot of damage,this time big rocks and dirt came down with the water, the creek on one side and the mountain spring on the other, When we bought this property know one told us anything. Is there anything we can do?

It's possible that your property in not within an oficially designated flood zone, but could still be subject to occasional flooding from a variety of sources, including the two which you've mentioned. Without knowing more, I'd be inclined to surmise that "you're probably stuck and out of luck" on this deal.
