Foreclosure proceedings have begun, and our home is going to HUD, please advise

Our home is in the process of foreclosure and we've been informed that it is going to HUD. Due to the expenses of having taken care of both my elderly parents in this home until they passed away last fall, we fell behind in our payments. One option to consider is to file Chapter 13 bankruptcy, which allows you to cure the arrearage over time. You may also beable to qualify for a HUD forebearance program. See a lawyer immediately.
