Habitat houseing

We were approved for a habitat house {habitat for humanity] where e/thing is volunteer work and our payment is interest free. The house we get is being reposessed by habitat but we cant find the man who had it first to sign the quick claims deed the wife has signed . They will go into foreclosure but until then can we rent it while waiting on foreclosure to go thur?Habitat has a mortage on it as well the man so one lawyer says we can and one says we cant. What do you think?

Until foreclosure takes place and the property is formally retitled in the name of Habitat, Habitat would not be the owner of record and would be unlikely to be able to authorize tenants

such as yourself to occupy it.
