Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Virginia

iI rent a house, that is in need of major repairs, the rent is paid by me working it off to the land lord, no money has ever changed hands, is there a way for me to aquire the property? Rent is not due til april 2010, i am stil working for land lord..

Only by agreement with the landlord for you to buy the property.
