Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Virginia

our neighbor is having some logging done on his property, they have cut a tree which fell across our fence and blocked a driveway it tore the fence down, we contacted the owner of the property who resides on property and he was to call back with a number to reach loggers, have not heard from no one, how can we go about getting this mess cleaned up and our fence restored, this has happened before and we have fixed our property, please advice what to do next

Re: loggers responsibility

Send demand notice for payment to cover your

reasonable costs to put your property aright---to

both neighbor and loggers.

If no response or they refuse to pay, file your

small claims case in the general distict court,

naming both neigbor and loggers as defendants.

(If no address for loggers available, then just the neighbor.)
