Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Virginia

My neighbor and I own what is called a condo - it is a 2 unit building with no common areas. We want to dissolve the condo agreement but the document said we would then be tenants in common. Can we also partition the tenants in common to separate houses ( single family attached or townhouse)? There is no dispute between us. There is no condo association, board of directors, condo fees, etc. since it's just the two of us and we each have separate plats

I suggest that you contact a local attorney who handles real estate and real property

matters for advice concerning this issue.(The lawyer may wish to review this condo

agreement and to clarify as to why such an agreement between neighbors came to be in the first place.)
