Can you get convicted on driving on suspended licsense if the police never pulled you over

If there is a witness or evidence that you were driving, at a time when your license was suspended, you could be convicted. Your question makes me wonder how this could happen. However, there would also have to be probable casue to bring the charges. If it could be proven that you were driving -- such as you admitted it somewhere -- while you had a suspended license, then you could be convicted of it. But I don't see how they would charge you or what evidence they would use.
