Legal Question in Traffic Law in Virginia

Driving with a suspended License

I was recently pulled over for not having a city sticker when the officer ran my information he found out that I had a suspended license. I had 3 things, a ticket in West Virginia, a ticket in Greensboro, and not having a vehicle insured. The insurance turned out to be a mistake because we had sold the car to a wrecker service. The ticket in West Virginia had been paid. The ticket in Greensboro was for not wearing a seat belt, and we've taken care of that as well. The officer charged me with driving with a suspended license. Can anyone tell me what's going to happen to me, am I going to jail? Will my license be suspended again? I just don't know really what to do or think so any help would be appreciated.

Re: Driving with a suspended License

Which ticket did you get the suspension for? Did you get notice of the suspension? If you got notice how was it received? The answers to all of these questions, will go a long way in helping anyone to advise you on what may happen and how you should handle it. If you want to e-mail the answers privately to me I will be happy to help you further.
