Legal Question in Traffic Law in Virginia

Recently I was pulled over and found out that my license was suspended because I needed to file an sr22 for an accident that occurred when I didn't have insurance.Apparently,I was sent notice to my old address from dmv but of course didn't receive it because my address wasn't updated.I have two other prior convictions of one driving on suspended and one driving with no license. I paid over 1,200 to get my insurance and license reinstated once I found out. I have court on the 7th but I need to know if I was not given notice will I be looking at jail time or a fine.

No, I would not expect any jail time if you can credibly establish no notice received but given your past record, I would strongly advise having counsel to represent you in this pending matter if at all possible.
