Reckless driving
Ok i was charged with reckless driving in a parking lot and i have a question.
1. i was driving in a parking lot
2. i in 2nd gear and i pulled the e-brake (30-40mph)
3. the officer said i was going about 60 (did not show me any proof)
4. the officer wrote down the wrong law code (42.6-863 which is failure to yield)
5. the parking lot that i was in was almost completely empty (there were cars there but they were empty)
and my question is, is there any way I can get out of this charge with
that information??
Re: Reckless driving
Yes, you may well have a basis to challenge the charge (particularly, in consideration of the
place and under the cirumstances in which it allegedly occurred), but you will likely need the services of an experienced traffic attorney in order to prevail.
