Given your moderately dismal driving record, I would recommend hiring an attorney to represent you on this charge who is appropriately experienced in

the Fairfax County General District Traffic Court

and who can do the talking for you to the local prosecutor to minimize your chances of alienating

this person and thereby enhancing your prospects of getting a charge reduced down to speeding, or, perhaps, even to improper driving (both mere traffic infractions as opposed to criminal misdemeanor offenses).
