Speeding Ticket (70 in 55)
I recently received a speeding ticket (70 in 55). I received a previous one 2 years ago for the same amount. My point balance is +2. Unfortunately I will not be able to make the court date, so I would like to visit the ACA to see if I can reduce it. Can I see him/her prior to the court date? Do you think it's worth my time? Do I need an appointment for this?
On a separate note, my sister has a failure to yield to a pedestrian violation. She HAS to appear in court for hers, but would it still be appropriate to speak with the ACA in her case?

Depends on which ACA it is who is assigned to your case for the morning of the hearing and whether that particular local Office of Commonwealth's Attorney will permit such prehearing settlements.(Probabaly, not, and I would also doubt very much that they would allow you to settle your sister's case. Technically that might be construed as UPL(unauthorized practice of law).
