Debts of deceased parents

Are children of deceased parent responsible for their debts, such as credit card debt?

Probably not personally, but as representatives of an adequate estate, quite possibly. I assume they were not on the accounts or using the cards for any reason. You may want to talk to the Commissioner of Accounts or an attorney about this, and any potential liability or need to pay, in more detail. Good luck.
