can the probate court of Prince William County transfer real estate from an estate on their own when there is a will and if the did is there any recourse against them

Probate courts are in the business of probating wills which means making sure that the executors of these wills have followed the legal procedures necessary to faithfully carry out the wishes of their respective testators and to properly administer the subject decedents' estates.

These courts normally do nothing with respect to these wills and/or estates "on their own".
