Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Virginia

My stepfather died almost two years ago and the will reads that his personal items were to be distributed to four siblings equally. However he remarried shortly before his death and she is claiming many things he gifted to her. We have an attorney that has supposedly been working through this with the estate administrator/attorney but we do not yet have a resolution. I have repeatedly asked for a court intervention to no avail. Can I file this with the courts on my own?

Michael Hendrickson Law Office Michael E. Hendrickson

What exactly would you like to file and with what or whom, the Commissioner of Accounts, perhaps?

If the attorney who is supposedly now representing you is not performing to your satisfaction, get rid

of him or her and hire another or take over the negotiations yourself with those representing

the estate if you feel you're sufficiently knowledgeable to do so.
