Repetitive motion injuries

Are repetitive motion injuries such as Bilateral Thumb Synovitis covered under workers compensation laws in virginia?

Generally speaking repetitive motion injuries are not compensable in Virginia as WC Injuries. Exceptions are carpal tunnel syndrome and hearing loss. They were specially added 3 yrs ago by the legislature. Unless your problem comes under the definition Carpal Tunnel Syndrome it would not be compensable.
