Legal Question in Workers Comp in Virginia

Not satisified by insurance company

I'm currently in a workman's comp. claim where i hurt my back at work. The insurance carrier said cumultive injuries aren't covered, but wanted to propose a settlement. The manager wasn't happy wth the proposition of his empoyee and now wants me to resign from my job because their best interests is for the employer and they wont have any light duty work for me after my back surgery. I've been out of work since Oct.30 and still hae not received any type of proposal. I feel i'm getting the runaround. What are my options?

Re: Not satisified by insurance company

Dear Sir:

I am unclear about your facts. You indicate you have a workers comp injury; however, you also indicate the insurer is not accepting it because it is a cumulative injury. I would need more information before I could answer your inquiry. Please call me at 1-800-256-8862. I have specialized in workers comp matters for 25 years. The Richmond Magazine listed me as the No 1 Workers Comp Attorney in Central Virginia.
