Legal Question in Workers Comp in Virginia

seizures

Part time employee, paid ''by the piece'', paid ''on clock'' while in office, use personal vehicle to complete work, local travel required, has 2 seizures, ten days apart, at office, on clock. Released due to medical condition. Condition now under control. Worker's Comp Claim?

In order for your seizures to be covered by workers compensation your seizures would have to be caused by an accident at work or possibly an occupational disease. The mere fact that your seizures happened at work does not mean your work caused the seizures. You may want to contact the EEOC to file a handicappped complaint because your Employer fired you while you were handicapped without offered you a job with an accomadation. Call EEOC at 804-278-4651.
