Legal Question in Disability Law in Washington

Job Replacement

While working as a lead for a Manuf. Co. for the past 14yrs., I have recently(8/04)become disabled w/ and am unable to perform the required duries. While under Dr. care & awaiting LTD, I have been dramatically demoted w/ a paycut of 40%. Is a Co. able to cut your pay so drastically & demote me due to my dasability and w/ no warning? This seems to me as a form of discrimination. What are my rights & how due I protect myself, career & financial responsibilities? Is this legal?

Feel free to call me tomorrow at 1 800 282 4878 to discuss it. Is your disability temporary? Did you claim family medical leave act relief?
